What is Millbrook Tack's return policy?

 

Customer satisfaction is our main priority. If you are not happy with your purchase, please let us know and we will do our best to remedy the situation.

Items returned must be in new condition with tags, unless an item is defective. If the product is for an animal, please try items on the animal with a covering to prevent dirt and marks.

Please note the following exceptions to our return and refund policy:

  • Returns made within 30 days of purchase may be eligible for a refund.
  • Returns made 30-60 days after purchase may be eligible for store credit.
  • Returns will not be allowed beyond 60 days from date of purchase.
  • All riding helmets are considered final sale whether purchased in-store or online. Under no circumstances are returns or exchanges allowed.

For refunds, purchase price minus shipping charges will be credited back to the same credit card on which the purchase was made. Adjustments to credit cards will be seen within two credit card statements.

The customer is responsible for shipping costs returning the purchase to Millbrook Tack. We do not accept returns that are shipped C.O.D.

How do I make a return?

 

Return instructions are printed on the bottom of the packing slip included in every order. Please enclose a copy of the packing slip in your return and indicate the reason for your return.

Please re-package your return in the same manner you received it. Millbrook Tack is not responsible for products damaged in transit. Please write RETURN on the outside of your package for faster processing.

Helmet Return and Exchange Policy

Important Notice Regarding Helmets

To ensure the highest standards of safety and hygiene, we have established a strict policy concerning the return and exchange of helmets.

Under no circumstances are any helmets returnable or exchangeable, regardless of their condition.

Helmets are critical safety equipment designed to protect the wearer in potentially dangerous situations. Due to their role in ensuring personal safety, it is imperative that each helmet is in optimal condition before it is used. Once a helmet has been purchased, it is considered a final sale.

Please be aware that helmets that have been returned or exchanged may not meet safety standards if they have been compromised in any way. Even if a helmet appears to be in good condition, it might have sustained internal damage that is not visible to the naked eye. This could undermine the helmet’s protective capabilities and pose a significant safety risk.

Additionally, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene. Helmets are personal items that come into close contact with the wearer and can accumulate sweat, hair, and other contaminants. For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returned helmets to avoid any potential hygiene issues.

We also wish to emphasize that accepting returned or exchanged helmets could lead to liability concerns. If a helmet that has been returned is involved in an accident, we could be held liable if it is found to be in a compromised state. To protect both our customers and our business, we strictly enforce this no-return and no-exchange policy.

Shipping

When will Millbrook Tack ship my order?

 

Weekday orders placed before 1 PM EST are normally shipped the same day. Orders placed after 1 PM may not be shipped until the following business day. Orders placed on weekends or major holidays will ship the following business day.

An e-mail with tracking information will be delivered to you after your order has shipped. If it has been more than 3 business days since you placed your order and you still have not received an e-mail from Millbrook with your tracking information, please contact us at 616-281-0777 or email us with your questions by clicking here.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

 

Orders over $99 are eligible for free shipping (some exclusions apply). Orders less than $99 cost $7.99 to ship (some exclusions apply). Saddles, Western Hats, Felt Hats, Wool Hats, Straw Hats, Gallon Jugs, and Oversized Items do not qualify for free shipping or $7.99 flat rate shipping.

Sales tax

 

6% Michigan State Sales Tax is charged to orders shipped to Michigan addresses.

Shipping to PO boxes

 

Millbrook Tack will ship to PO Boxes via the US Postal Service.

Military addresses

 

TextMillbrook is more than happy to ship orders to Military APO addresses. All APO shipments will be made via the US Postal service. Rush shipping is not available.

International orders

 

Currently our online shopping cart only allows orders to the US and Canada. Our Canadian standard shipping rate is $29.99. More locations available by special request. Please contact us with the items you wish to purchase and your location by clicking here.

How long will my order take to get here?

 

If your order is placed before 1 PM it is normally shipped the same day. Orders after 1 PM may be shipped up to 1 business day later. Ground orders are in transit for 1 - 5 business days depending upon your proximity to our Michigan location.

Dependent upon the size of the package and destination distance from Millbrook Tack, your order will be shipped in the most economical and efficient manner. If you require special shipping accommodations please advise via the comments section on the checkout page and we will do our best to comply. Please note that additional shipping charges may apply.

USPS operates Monday - Saturday, excluding major holidays, which are not included in the time-in-transit calculations.

UPS operates Monday - Friday, excluding most major holidays. See the UPS map below for an estimate of their shipping times. Rush shipping is available, but please remember that UPS does not deliver on weekends or holidays.
