OUR MISSION
We love nothing more than top quality gear and a good bargain. In the equestrian world, every savings counts! We exist so you can have your cake (or should we say hay) and eat it too.
HOW IT WORKS
Selling with Millbrook Tack's Resale Boutique, Changing Reins, is easy and convenient. Check our inclusions/exclusions list to see what we're currently accepting. Drop off your items in-store during our business hours (Mon-Sat 10am-7pm, Sun 12pm-5pm). Upon drop off, you'll complete paperwork and provide your contact information. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours for us to assess your items, though this may vary based on quantity and current volume. Once we've reviewed your items, we'll contact you to review an offer for your items or to pick up any items we can't accept. Our pricing structure varies depending on item type and condition, and offers made by our appraiser are non-negotiable. Sellers are paid via check, cash, Venmo, or store credit on the same day the offer is accepted. Your accepted items will be displayed in our in-store resale section, with plans to offer online sales in the future. For any questions or assistance, please call us at (616) 281-0777. Experience the convenience and immediate payment benefits of selling with Changing Reins!

FAQS
What happens to items not accepted?
Not Accepted Items:
Changing Reins/Millbrook Tack reserves the right to reject any item for any reason for resale. Items must be in very good to new with tags condition (condition to be determined by CR/MBT only).
If we do not initially accept your items we ask that you pick up your items within 48 hours of our phone call.
You have the option to donate your items if you don't wish to take them home. In this case, they are donated to a local rescue or non-profit.
How many items should I bring in at a time?
We ask that you limit each "trip" to 15 items or less. If you have more items, you're welcome to bring them in after we've gone through your first batch of items and the non-accepted items (if applicable) have been picked up.
I didn't get the offer I expected...
The secondary market for item sales can be drastically different than the retail price. By the time secondary items hit the market, they may be heavily on sale at a retail price. This will lower the selling price in a secondary market related to its retail price
Are your offers negotiable?
Our offers are non-negotiable.
How long will it take to go through my items?
The turnaround time for us to go through your items can vary drastically and be anywhere from a few hours, to 7 days. This is all dependent on the volume of items our appraiser has to go through, in addition to the quantity of items you bring in. As a baseline, we ask that you allow a minimum of 24hrs. Once your items are ready to be picked up, or we have an offer to extend to you, we will give you a call.
